2009 Reel Youth Film Festival Screening at the Vancouver International Film Festival
Vancouver, BC, October 14th and 15th
A Festival within a Festival! For the last three years, Reel Youth has partnered with the VIFF to add a youth made element to the program. Based on over 300 submissions, these films were chosen by a youth jury based on techinical merit, the message portrayed, and entertainment value. Made by youth 19 years old and younger, the depth of talent and insight will surprise you.

Utopian Film Festival
Greenbelt, Maryland, from October 19 to 25
This festival seeks to provide an enjoyable experience while pursuing works that tackle humanity's quest for a more 'utopian' existence. All eight of Peace it Together's 2008 films will be shown at this festival and we hope some of our American friends will be able to support our presence in Maryland.

This young film festival chose the movie “Inspired” to show at their 4th annual event. Vancouver filmmaker Omar Chu and other Canadian participants will be in the theatre to answer questions.

Women in Film and TV Short Series
Los Angeles, California on September 30th from 5-10
Peace it Together films 'Inspired' (2008) and 'Listen to This' (2008) have been selected to this film series in Los Angeles, California.
Through a diverse program of short films, this year's series will celebrate and support the creative talents of Palestinian and Israeli filmmakers. Every filmmaker has a unique perspective on their culture and their world. The films selected both narrative and documentary, will provide views into the psyche of these communities and deepen our understanding of Palestinian and Israeli life, lands, and cultures.
