This past year we have begun screening the short films made collaboratively by Palestinian, Israeli and Canadian youths in classrooms, theatres and communities around the world. The 2008 films were shown at dozens of film festivals in the US, Canada and the UK, and many schools, conferences and in the filmmakers' own communities. Two Palestinian and Israeli filmmakers recently screened their films at a youth conference in Spain, see the article in our 'In the News' section. One Palestinian filmmaker will screen the films in November at the Global Youth Summit in London.

The Canadian participants have screened films in over 20 classrooms in their communities. Finally, high schools and post-secondary institutions have benefited from using our educational package, which includes a 29-minute documentary that follows the students on their remarkable and inspiring journeys, a teacher's guide, and an hour-and-a-half of additional footage, featuring workshops, discussions and additional interviews.

In early September, Peace it Together launched its first Facebook Fan page. We have used that page to update our fans in real-time! You can now be the first to know when our films are accepted to festivals and when our youth are screening at your local community centre.
